I LOVE this picture of Gracie! It captures her beautifully: the poised and steady goodness of her gaze; the dancing hair; it is just so her! Which is really the very best compliment a photographer can have . . . to somehow capture the essence of the soul they photograph! You have done it! Congratulations.

I can't believe I'm doing this . . . but one more comment: As I watch your style develop, I've come to recognize that you honor the eyes as windows into the soul. You have especially captured several children--Kaia, Anna, Gracie--where they look so soft and ephemeral [as childhood itself surely is] . . . but the eyes! Even in Gracie's profile, the eyes are ETERNAL . . . like little universes that have always been and always will be. Knowing, intelligent, powerful. I love this developing style.
You surprise and amaze me, again and again. That's why I love to watch your work!
